Sandry Law 在2023年秋天首次踏上滇西杉木丰茂的山坡，寻找一种如同它即将存放的茶叶般充满生命力的材料。那里的深山杉木 — 生长缓慢、树脂丰富 — 长期被当地茶农家庭用来制作供佛香珠盒和嫁妆箱。Sandry 与昆明郊外一家家庭经营的木工厂合作，该厂将每块木板风干两年，并淘汰任何在关键接合区域带有节疤的板材。
回到 Teamotea 采购中心后，她为较干燥的气候设计了一款橱柜。她知道传统的开放式层架会让太多水分逸散。最终诞生的设计 — 一个带磁吸门的密闭式橱柜，并设有隐藏的湿度卡插槽 — 是在昆明冬季进行数月原型测试后的成果，当时室内湿度可能骤降至 30% 以下。

In the workshop's words
Grain, at rest
Exterior: smooth-sanded cedar with a vertical grain that catches light — a dry, camphoraceous whisper.
Under water
Interior after opening: a deeper, sweeter rush of cured cedar, warm and faintly spicy; the hush of air that hasn't moved in months.
In low light
Aging environment: temperature-stable interior, slow humidity exchange through natural wood pores, no off-gassing.
Scent
Resinous, clean, slightly sweet — exactly the breath you want circulating around your wrapped bǐng.
Underhand
Cabinet imparts nothing overt, but after a year of storage, many owners notice a softer, rounder edge in their brew — a gentle cedar lift.

Setting it up
